Program Performance Advisory Service |
We believe robust evidence, reflections upon strengths and opportunities, and a clear vision of the desired change are key to informing strategic decisions about the direction of your program. We use facilitation and a collaborative approach to help you and your team to reflect on progress, to clarify your outcomes and goals, and understand whether your existing interventions are sufficient to achieve them. We then use this information and collaborate with your team to develop or refine your strategy to deliver results. |
We supported IPAS Indonesia to refine their Country Strategy and their Community Engagement Strategy to create behaviour change related to reproductive health. |

Research And Evaluation |
We believe that understanding what works, under what circumstances and why is fundamental to appropriate intervention design and actionable evaluation. We start from a clear understanding of what information you and your stakeholders need and for what purposes. We then develop a clear research plan guided by key research or evaluation questions. Rather than tell you what to do, or pass judgement on your project, we present data so that it is clear and easy to understand and facilitate sense making sessions with stakeholders, to draw out insights and help to shape the findings and suggestions. As part of our analysis, we highlight implications for stakeholders and (where possible) suggest potential ways to respond, helping you and your team decide on the best way forward. |
In 2021 we conducted a scoping study for the British Council for an informal education project for marginalised girls in Eastern Indonesia, identifying key constraints and providing options for implementation |

Monitoring And Evaluation Design |
We believe good systems and processes enable organisations to maximise performance, help projects stay on track and be accountable. We collaborate with organisations to understand their needs when it comes to data (sometimes less is more!) and then work together to design the processes and the tools according to those needs. The resulting system enables organisations to collect the right data at the right time, in alignment with the project and reporting cycle, so that teams can make decisions based on a clear understanding of areas that are performing well and areas that need improvement. |
We have supported the DFAT funded Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Justice 2 (AIPJ) program since 2017, to design their M&E system and support to AIPJ partners to conduct quarterly reflections. |

Training |
SOLIDARITAS offers several public training classes that introduce participants to key concepts and theory, but more importantly help them to understand and apply those concepts in their own contexts. We also deliver in-house trainings that are tailored to the specific needs and contexts of our clients, based on a process of consultation and collaborative needs assessment. For M&E and program staff that are already familiar with the basics of M&E but need additional support in implementing M&E processes, we also offer mentoring and coaching that is focused on finding appropriate, workable solutions to the challenges they face. |
In delivering all of these capacity building approaches, SOLIDARITAS collaborates with Clear Horizon, the premier Australian M&E consultancy, to leverage their highly-regarded training programs and years of M&E experience. |
